Can I Have Two Intentions While Performing Hajj?
When a Muslim voluntarily fasts on a day with more than one intention for fasting on that day, he gets a reward for each intention he has made. This is based on the hadith in which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The (reward of) deeds depend on intentions." Based on this, I would like to know if a Muslim is allowed also to perform Hajj with two intentions. I mean, can he, for example, perform Hajj once, intending it on behalf of himself and also on behalf of a parent and thus gets the reward of the two intentions?
