Dear brothers/sisters,I have a lot of confusion regarding some issues pertaining to hajj. I can not find a lot of information relating to women's hajj on the internet. I would really appriciate if you could answer my questions: 1) It is common practice to use birth control pill to stop periods during haj. Is this acceptable? 2) A lot of women who go for hajj and are using birth control pills  (to stop their mensus)experience some mild bleeding/ spotting on and off. Is it allowed for them to perform Umrah/ Tuwaaf and prayer after washing away the impurity (usualy very light). This is a very common problem faced by ladies during haj.(this spotting happens at random - there is no way to be sure when it will happen. Can happen even after putting Ihram or after starting Tuwaf) 3) If for some reason, if a  woman is not is paak state (mensus or spotting mentioned above), should she leave Makkah without performing Tuwaf-e-wida (and Tuwaf-e-Ifaada) or should she do Tuwaf. Does she have to give Dum. There is a lot of conflicting opinion regarding this. 4) Some peaple believe a woman can wear any kind of shoes while in Ihram. Is that true? 5) Is it allowed for women to leave Muzdaliffa early? 6) Is it allowed for women to have their Mahram throw the pebbles for them. I went for Hajj and was very sick on the second and third day of Rami. My husband threw my pebbles. Do I need to give Dam? 7) Because of my sickness, my husband held my hand while doing Tuwaf-e-Ifada. Is htat a problem?

I decided, without knowing about the Days of tashreeq, to complete the days of fasting I had missed in Ramadan (due to menses). Do I count the second and third days of tashreeq that I started fasting on, or must I begin counting my days after tashreeq?

Dear Imam, as-salamu `alaykum. I just returned from Hajj with an organizer who did not fulfill his duties as he neglected his Hajj group from the moment the money was paid. We were on our own to make Hajj intention and ihram at the miqat on our own. Some of us doubted whether we did it correctly. We had no guidance at all during our Hajj except from Allah the Almighty. We were told to be ready to departure at least 12 hours before the bus arrives. Therefore, we all had to do Tawaf Al-Wada` the night before. As the bus was delayed, some of us went shopping at the hotel to buy food and other last minute gifts. I read somewhere that once the last Tawaf is done you may not buy any gifts or anything of the sort. Did those of us who went shopping violate the rules of Hajj? If so, what can we do to correct that? Also, if we have to make a sacrifice, can we do it at the mosque in theUSA, or is it better send the money for it to be done to feed the poor back home? Respected Sheikh, as-salamu `alaykum. I intended to perform Hajj this year and I prepared myself to perform this obligation. It took nearly all the money I had and I asked Allah the Almighty in every prayer that I would be able to do this act of worship. I am not referring to Henna, as the Prophet (Peace be Upon him) used to use.   As-salamu `alaykum. In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. All praise and thanks are due to Allah Alone, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger Muhammad.Last year, I made my sincere intention to perform Hajj &amp; Umrah and by the will of Allah (swt) I was able to. Everything went fine until the last day where I found my self in the middle of stampede. Unable to get myself out if it, and with my last breath I was peacefully awaiting Allah(swt) to terminate my stay in this world, and while my lips, mind and heart were praising Allah(swt) and testifying to the Oneness of Allah (swt), I was also asking Allah(swt) to take me out of my trouble/test. I was not able to help myself, I was injured and had no strength at all. Allah's(swt) help came. I don't know how, but I got out, then gathered strength and finished throwing the pebbles. Howerever, the pain in body parts especially the ribs were increasing as my body cooled down and after about 1 hour I could almost not move and needed help to move around, and I was unable to perform the farewell tawaf. My group guide adviced that I should have an animal sacrificed next year/hajj. (This may sound weird to many, but those last seconds were the most peacefull moments I have ever had) Dear brother, would you please advice based on my events. Is my Hajj valid? Is the group guide correct in saying that I can wait until next Hajj for sacrifice? Do I have to go again to perform the sacrifice myself? How big shall the animal be? Any other related advice is appreciated. Wa Salamu `alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.

My mother, my wife and I did umra, however, forgot to trim our hair. Later all of us removed our ahram. My wife and I also enjoyed our conjugal rights. However, my mother is an old lady and a widow. Next morning when we remembered, we trimmed our hair as normal. Please tell us: 1. If each one of us has to sacrifice a goat (give "dumm") 2. Whether such sacrifice to atone for mistakes in umra have to be done in Makkah? or they can be done in Jeddah or in Pakistan. 3. Who can eat this sacrifical meat.

I have three questions:1. I have long hair. My relatives were after me to cut them short. However, I had decided in my heart that I would cut (shave) them when I would perform Hajj or when I would marry. This was not a 'mannat'/vow but just an intention. I did not say it aloud and neither did I think of it as a 'mannat'. Now, I know that the Prophet (PBUH) had prayed for the one who shaves his head three times before he included the one who cuts his hair in his prayer. Also, that the Prophet told the muslims to perform Hajj Tamattu (and that it is preferable ???). Now my question is that I am going for Hajj this year and I intend to perform Hajj Tamattu, Insha Allah; so can I shave my hair after Umrah or do I need to cut it short after Umrah and then shave after performing Hajj (bcos my intention was to shave after Hajj)? I want to shave after Umrah itself because I want to get the full benefit of the Prophet's dua. I also want to perform Hajj Tamattu, because the Prophet told the muslims to do so. [Sorry if this question seems a bit childish, but it troubles my mind, so I have decided to ask rather than know later that I have done something wrong. By the way, my heart inclines towards shaving my head after Umrah, because it was just a intention and I don't think I upgraded it to a 'mannat'. I also wonder if I am wrong in thinking of Umrah as separate fro m Hajj, because I AM performing Hajj Tamattu which includes both Hajj and Umrah][P.S. Many people in Saudi Arabia and outside Saudi Arabia fear that their sacrifice will not be accepted because they cut their hair and trimmed their nails on last Monday, not knowing it is the first day of Dhul-Hijjah because of the late announcement by Saudi officials. As-salamu `alaykum. I have some loans from my education. If my husband is paying for me to perform Hajj, do my loans have to be paid off before I go? Also, if a person has loans, do they have to be paid off before Hajj or can they be paid later as a process of installments? This means that the person would be working and paying installments but still have enough money to pay for Hajj. Or is it better to use the money to pay off all the loans first before performing Hajj?

As-salamu `alaykum. I tend to perform `Umrah every year once or more, until it has become something I cannot give up. One of my friends told me that repeating `Umrah is reprehensible. So I would like to know if repeating `Umrah is permissible or not?

Assalaamalaikum Scolars, I wanted to know on which individual does Hajj becomes Farz, I do not have that much of money to prform hajj however my wife has got  enough Jewelry &amp; I also have a carr &amp; if i struggle hard for the next one year that is if i start saving money each mont than i think i can make it up for hajj &amp; can i perform hajj alone without my wife because we just had a son who is just a few months old &amp; if it is mandatory to take my wife along than i thing i should wait for a couple of years &amp; no one knows what's going to happen tomorrow eccept Allah &amp; also wanted to know even after i have enough money to perform hajj can i spend the money on a poor girls marriage because i had heard that baring the expenses of an orphan girl's marriage gives me the same reward as performing hajj, so can you please guide me what should i do as per the shariyat

What I understand from the Qur'an and tafsir (Arabic for: exegesis of the Qur'an) is that Prophet Ibrahim and his son Isma`il (peace and blessings be upon them) raised the foundations of the Ka`bah that were beneath the sand. Dear scholars, as-salamu `alaykum. As far as I understand from the exegesis of the Qur'an, it is possible to do the pilgrimage in four months, specifically Shawwal, Dhul-Qi`dah, and Dhul-Hijjah. Is it possible to perform Hajj in any of the four months instead of Dhul-Hijjah? Jazakum Allahu khayran.
