he eminent Muslim scholar and renowned Da`iyah, Sheikh `Abdel Khaliq Hasan Ash-Shareef, states:
“Body cover or libas refers to what covers man. So, it means that a husband should be a cover to his wife and the wife should be a cover to her husband. They are a body cover to each other. Each one of them should cover the other faults that appear to him/her and not to divulge them to other people. In case there is no enough money in the house for example, the wife should not tell others that he (her husband) cannot suffice her financially. The same applies to the husband who must be a cover to his wife.”
