A bride should start her life with her husband by intending to help him obey Allah and lead a righteous and happy life. They must thank Allah and make du`a’ asking Allah to grant them happiness in this worldly life and in the Hereafter. She must beautify herself for her husband and they must not forget to offer the obligatory prayers in this day or in any other time.
Regarding their intimate relationship in the first night of their marriage, the bride should respond to and help the groom while he is trying to approach her. In other words, she should not hinder him from having intimate relationship (intercourse) with her. Rather, she should help him. As the groom is required to show love to her, she is also required to show love to him and to make him feel that she became feeling that this is her house from the first night.
