The eminent Muslim scholar and renowned Da`iyah, Sheikh `Abdel Khaliq Hasan Ash-Shareef, states: “As a Muslim, you must do your best to count the number of days during which you have done masturbation while you were fasting and to make up for these days. Even if you cannot remember the exact number of days, you have to try to count them as best as you can remember and to fast one day for each day you have broken due to masturbation. Moreover, you should ask Allah for forgiveness and give out charity. Finally, we ask Allah Almighty to forgive our sins and to guide us all to the right path, amen!”
