Seeking Worldly Characteristics in a Fiancé and Fiancée

Respected scholars, as-salamu `alaykum. In sha’ Allah I am planning to get married soon, and the person I am interested in has come back to me stating the two hadiths stated below that apply to both men and women when choosing their spouses. However, I see it differently with men given that they have more options in the attributes to look for in a wife. According to one hadith, The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said that a woman may be married for her wealth, her beauty, her lineage or her religious commitment, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) encouraged a man to marry the one who is religiously committed." My question is, are women allowed to marry for the same reasons? If so, why would the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mention this hadith in a context that is being addressed to men? Concerning how a woman can choose her partner I have read a hadith where the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned, "If there comes to you one whose religious commitment and attitude please you, then marry [your female relative who is under your care] to him, for if you do not do that, there will be tribulation on earth and much corruption.” Looking at these hadiths why did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) not mention other attributes to look for in a man from a woman's point of view? Is it safe to assume that the first hadith applies to men and women? I am confused as to why it is addressed to men. Jazakum Allahu Khayran.

The Prophet’s letters to rulers, was it declaration of wars?

Assalam u Alaykum. During a religious debate a very serious point was brought up by my colleague.During the time of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the establishment of Islam over the Asia and Europe, letters were sent out by the Prophet to leaders of various lands. These encouraged them to take up Islam as it was a better way of life for them. My colleague states that after intial polite letters further incentives were sent to accept Islam. Thereafter what could be interpreted as threatening letters were sent therein stating accept Islam or we will wage a war against you. Is this true?An example given was when the companion Umar was told to go to Persia (Iran) and destroy thousands of books in the libraries as only Islam and the Quran was all that they needed. My colleague claimed Islam eradicated thier culture and way of life which they were more than content with. They were told the Quran is all that they need.Surely education and knowledge via books and libraries is fundamental in Islam as were are here but to acquire knowledge and spread that knowledge of the beautiful preachings and way of life of Islam. If this is factual surely Islam is about giving the message of Islam to others and then letting them decide if they want to accept it. Islam is a religion of peace. Why would the Prophet order war against a nation purely as a consequence of thier King not accepting Islam? If this is not factual please explain why the Prophet did what he did in the context of that time. Maybe the Persian King contributed to this reaction?Thank you for your efforts. May Allah forgive us all and grant us eternal paradise.

Female secretion

and there is another hadith saying: ماء الرجل أبيض و ماء المرأة أصفر فإذا اجتمعا فَعلا مَنِيُّ الرجل مَنِيُّ المرأة أذكرا بإذن الله ، وإذا علا مَنِيُّ المرأة مَنِيُّ الرجل آنثا بإذن اللهthe problem is that when it happens to me to have ihtilam, i never ever seen a similar yellow liquid, all what i may have is the lubrificants (madhye) which is rather white and viscous. My married friends said they never ever seen any yellow feminine sperm.  and i checked in medical manuals, and there is no yellow feminine sperm mentioned in them, they say that all what women have during a sexual intercourse or a ihtilam, is the lubrificants (madhye) and that "the feminine sperm" if we can call it like that, is the ovula, which is the microscopic feminine egg responsible of the fact that women give half of the DNA of the baby. the ovula doesn’t get out of the vagina, it stays into the uterus untill a spermatozoid reachs it, then it may give a baby, then if it’s not fertilized, then it gets out but it’s microscopic, not a yellow liquid. oh i'm very confused. please could you make it more clear for me about this "maa'e al mar'ah"?? and what about that hadith, is it sahih?thanx a lot wa salam aleykom

Aborting a foetus plagued with a fatal disease
