The eminent Muslim scholar and renowned Da`iyah, Sheikh `Abdel Khaliq Hasan Ash-Shareef, states: There is nothing in the Islamic Shari`ah requiring burying hair or nails in soil. So, it is not necessary to do that. One can dispose of them in any proper way.”
