Asalam Alaikam,Inshallah, My husband and I are going for Hajj this year. I will be on my monthly period when we first leave the United States. My question is Should I get into the State of Ihram at the Meeqat in the Plane and do all the rights of Umrah except for the Tawaf and when I make Gushul, then do the Tawaf? Or would it be better If I do not adapt the Ihram in the plane and then go back to the Meeqat and adopt Ihram for Umrah after I have made my Ghusul? If the first option is better, will I be in the State of Ihram for the rest of my period until I make ghusul and then the tawaf? During Hajj I saw many women covering their face (wearing niqab) when in state of ihram and during tawaf. It is my understanding that covering  face is prohibited during Hajj espeicially when in state of ihram. Am I wrong?

Asak, I had to travel from Atlanta to India. But one of my friends suggested that I should make a stop over at Jeddah and apply for transit visa for Saudi. I took his advice and applied and alhmd. i got the transit visa. But during this process (as everything happened last minute) I delayed making aggrangements for Ihram for me and my Family and I tried to find them and inquired with my friends and family if they had any Ihrams. But none of this gave any results. I had no choice to proceed without Ihram for jeddah. But after reaching Jeddah, I bought ahram there and wore it. Just to let you the main intention for the stop over at jeddah was Umrah. Do I have to give Dumm for my mistake?? Please advice me. Thank You

As-salamu `alaykum,I live inCanada, and I am flying to Saudi Arabia for a business trip, but I am also planning to do `Umrah, in sha' Allah. I have two questions as follows:1. Do I have to enter Makkah in the state of ihram or can I delay this until I start doing the `Umrah after my business trip is over?2.
