Firstly, we would like to stress that every committed Muslim should work with his heart and tongue and devote his energy to upgrade Muslim’s economic system. Indeed, this is an achievable and a worthwhile goal which Muslims should strive for.
In an attempt to address this issue, Dr. Monzer Kahf, Scholar in Islamic Economics & a Financial Expert said:
If a Muslim works in handing normal hotel activities, no alcohol handling and no relation to gambling or ball rooms mixed receptions, the way they are done in hotels, that makes his future salary and work permissible even though the hotel itself may have non-permissible income and or activities.
