The eminent Muslim scholar and renowned Da`iyah, Sheikh `Abdel Khaliq Hasan Ash-Shareef, states: “All Prophets are sent by Allah to guide people and all of them have eminent rank in our hearts and we, Muslims, highly respect them all. Our respect for them all is unshakeable and unchangeable. It is permissible to name your baby with any of Allah’s Prophets (peace and blessings be upon them all) like Lut, Musa, `Isa, etc.”
