Undoubtedly, it is the ever right decision that our brothers have chosen Islam as an approach of life and a valid creed, the last religion which Allah revealed to his seal Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). Allah has chosen this religion for people, and this is stated in the Qur’an, Almighty Allah said, “Indeed Allah has chosen for you this religion, so do not die except while you are Muslims. (Al-Baqarah, 2:123)
By then, our new Muslim brothers need to learn first of all the basic principles of Islam including knowing about their Lord Almight Allah, His Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him), and the Hereafter. They have to learn matters of monotheism, the attributes of Allah, the stages of the Hereafter, etc. Moreover, they should learn the etiquettes and ruling of salah, fasting, taharah (purification) and etiquettes of dealing with others.
the best way for getting knowledge as well as the Islamic support is to find an Islamic center, where they, in sha Allah, will find the best assistance. Our new Muslims will find there many Muslim brothers who are ready for their help, and they will spare no effort in helping. It is also recommended that they should look for some righteous friends who can help and teach and give them the proper advice, and help them not be affected by the atmosphere around.
