Responding to this, Dr. Hatem Al-Haj, Professor of Fiqh, stated:
People will remember events of this life in the Jannah, for Allah said, “And they draw near one another, questioning: Before, we were afraid of the punishment of Allah while with our families. But Allah has been gracious to us, and saved us from the torment of the Fire.” [52:25-27]
As for the wishes, the people of al-Jannat will have their wishes honored including the wish to farm and grow things as authentically reported by Al-Bukhari. They will not desire evil or lowly things.
