Responding to question of marrying a lady before she gets her divorce, Dr. Main Khalid Al-Qudah said:
“First of all, you need to know that it is extremely prohibited to ask her for marriage while she is still married with some body else. Not even when she is divorced and still in her waiting period you can do so.
Secondly, let her decide whether or not she wants to proceed with her current marriage. If she filed for divorce through the civil court in her area and failed in that, she can approach her local Imam to find a practical solution for this dilemma.”
