The well-known Egyptian scholar and Da`iyah Sheikh `Abdul-Khaleq Hasan Ash-Shareef, states the following: “Muslim scholars state that the woman has to perform Ghusl in case she is internally examined. According to the Shafi`ies, if a man is examined from the anus, then he is obliged to perform Ghusl.”
