A Muslim is required to be sure that her/his Zakah goes actually to qualified recipients except in one case that is when a government collects it by force of law then its distribution becomes the responsibility of the government. Besides, traditional marriages and their expenses may be completely outside the limits of Zakah distribution because of many customs and traditions that do not qualify for Zakah distribution. They also do not observe the priorities of Zakah distribution at our time.”
