Muslim scholars state that it is impermissible to project Prophets (peace and blessings be upon them all) as well as the Prophet’s Companions (may Allah be pleased with them all) in the form of drawing or in any other form.
The following statement issued by the Islamic Fiqh Academy in Makkah, Saudi Arabia: “It is impermissible to depict Prophets as well as the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon them all) in the form of drawing or in any other form. This is to ascertain their dignified status and render them all forms of respect they deserve.
The Academy stresses that this issue is totally haram and religiously prohibited.”
