Dr. Marawan Shahin, Professor of Hadith and its Sciences, Faculty of Usul Ad-Din (Theology),Al-Azhar Univ. states: “As far as Islamic Shari`ah is concerned, there is nothing objectionable to a woman wearing a ring with no up rise. There is nothing in the sources of Shari`ah prohibiting a woman from wearing such a ring.”
