Respected Sheikhs, As-Salamu `alaykum. Why is Allah referred to in the Qur'an by the masculine pronoun, "He", when Allah is neither man nor woman? Jazakum Allah khayran.
As-Salaam `Alaykum. I feel very bad about this feeling, but I don’t know how to get rid of it. All the people I know, who don’t pray and do lots of the Haram (unlawful), go on holidays and I can’t because of financial problems. Sometimes when I go out, I see someone spending money, I get jealous. I don’t like this feeling. I hate it. what should I do?
Dear Scholars, As-Salaamu `alaykum. Why should we love Allah more than anything else? And how can we achieve this? Jazakum Allah khayran.
Is it permissible for a person to seek an intermediary between him and Allah?
Dear Sheikh, As-Salamu `alaykum. I have committed evil but want to sto p and serve Allah and become a perfect Muslim. Will I still be punished for my wrongdoing?
Salam 3alykom wa rahmat Allah. I know that God has assigned certain people to be in others' service and help. I cannot hear of a person in need or help and not offer it, specialy my parents, my in-laws among my sisters and brothers .. But instead of leaving this for my ability and time. I am continually asked to do even if others can and should. My children are accusing me of being so weak and letting myself be used. I say it is God's will and it is His satisfaction that he made me servant to all. In fact, I am getting tired and wonder who is right my children or myself??
Dear scholars, as-Salamu `alaykum. The Qur’an tells us that only God knows whether the child will be a male or female. But now with the latest techniques (ultra-sound, x-rays and other modern technologies), doctors can discern whether the fetus is male or female? How can we explain the authenticity of the Qur’an following this scientific achievement? Jazakum Allah khayran.
As-Salamu `alaykum, How can I respond to a question like: “Where did God come from?” Thank you in advance.
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. Some fellow Muslims speak of the will of Allah. When they do something wrong, they simply say, "it was Allah’s will." Don't they understand that Allah willed humans to have free will, giving humans reason and the ability to shape their own destiny?
When Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said "Allah created Adam in His image" what does "his image" refer to and how should we understand it?
Dear scholars, As-salamu `alaykum. Why is there is so much fear of Allah? We should love Allah, not be scared of Him. Jazakum Allahu khayran.
Dear Sheikh! Salam `Alaykum! I would like to ask if we have right to know about Allah! Do Allah allow us to know about Him? Could you enlighten me in this regard please?
