The prominent Muslim scholar, Sheikh Muhammad Iqbal Nadvi, Director and Imam of Al-Falah Islamic Center, Oakville, Ontario, Canada , states: “Portraying the Prophet and his wives is unanimously forbidden. However, if one wants to write the life of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and how he treated his wives, we are recommended to do this in the form of a story or something similar, away from being acted.”
