In his response to this issue, the prominent Muslim scholar, Sheikh Muhammad Iqbal Nadvi stated:
“Of course there is fun in Islam, but is a comprehensive way of life. It teaches us that we perfect both the end and the means. That means our intentions as well as our means of carrying out these intentions have to be sound and in line with the teachings of Islam. Life is to be enjoyed and liked but what matters in is not to have fun, but how we have fun.”
