It should be clear that standing even for a moment at any place of `Arafah at the day or night of `Arafah is sufficient.
Sheikh Muhammad Nur Abdullah, former president of the ISNA (Islamic Society of North America) and member of the Fiqh Council of North America, states: If a pilgrim faints while standing on Arafah and he/she was taken to the hospital during `Arafah, most likely the hospital will be in `Arafah, as the Saudi Hajj authorities have taken this into consideration and built hospitals within the borders of Mount `Arafah. In addition, if the pilgrim catches some time from the day and night, then the standing on `Arafah has been fulfilled.
