The eminent Muslim scholar and Da`iyah, Sheikh `Abdul-Khaleq Hasan Ash-Shareef, states the following: “I see that it is not haram to have the Union Jack Flag on a car or a shirt or something else as the red cross is not there with a symbolic meaning, and what is actually there in the flag is not purely a cross shape.
