In his response to this issue, Sheikh `Abdul-Majeed Subh, a prominent Azharite scholar stated:
“If you forgot to perform Sujud as-sahw it is not required to perform it again after the sunnah prayer. It is a recommended act and forgetting it does not nullify the prayer….”
