feet

Aslamualaikum respected scholar i wanted to  ask can we sleep on our bed while our feet are towards north. my bed is in such direction that when we lay on it or when we sleep our feet are towards north. some one told me that we should not have feet towards north because something sacred lies there. is it true? and if true will i be sinful if my feet are towards north?

I have a houseboy who comes to clean our house. Should I cover my feet in front of him as well? I do wear hijab in front of him but I was a little puzzled about covering of feet as I have seen many ladies not doing so. Jazak Allah Khair.

Is it permissible to keep uncovered the foot for womem while in prayer.(ie from ankle downwards)

As-Salamu `alaykum. I notice that some people separate their feet while performing Prayer (Salah), whereas others put them beside each other. Also some other people rest on one foot relieving the other, and then make it the other way round to endure standing, especially to perform Vigil Prayers. So what is the Islamic ruling concerning all such conditions? Jazakum Allah khayran.
