How is it important to forgive especially before going to `umrah?

The eminent Muslim scholar and renowned Da`iyah, Sheikh `Abdel Khaliq Hasan Ash-Shareef, states: “Islam calls for forgiveness and tolerance. Almighty Allah says, “Let them forgive and show indulgence. Yearn ye not that Allah may forgive you? Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.” (An-Nur 24: 22) It is also reported that Almighty Allah forgives the sins of all people except persons forsaking and abandoning each others. Almighty Allah will delay forgiving them until they reconcile.

Islam encourages us as Muslims to be tolerant and forgiving towards each other. So, it is our advice to make compromise with Allah, our relatives and ourselves before going for `Umrah. Don’t we love that Almighty Allah forgive our sins. Forgive and pardon others and ask Allah for pardon and forgiveness.
