The prominent Muslim scholar and da`iyah based inLondon Zienab Mostafa, says: “The least that can be said about women’s `awrah before another woman is between the navel and knee, it is called “`awrah mughalatha” or significant `awrah. This area can only be shown in case of necessity.
If it continues to be a serious problem that causes ongoing irritations and will endanger marriage, then a lady might get her body permanently waxed (by laser or other means available). It will be a one-time situation that is excused because of a real need that is treated like a necessity.“
