It is required as a Muslim who wants to perform Hajj to prepare spiritually and educationally for this blessed journey. Part of the preparation is to know how to perform Hajj in the correct way. As regards the issue of the differences among madhhabs on secondary issues of Hajj as well as other aspects of Shari`ah, muslims can follow any of the correct and acceptable madhhabs or muftis.
Therefore, muslims may offer Hajj according to the Shafi`i madhhab or any other correct madhhab according to the circumstances and the circumstances of the group they are traveling with and the circumstances of the rituals they are performing.
