Islam is a religion that encompasses all aspects of life and secures guidance and light for all mankind.
First of all, we would like to stress the fact that lipstick like any other beauty products, should not be used by a Muslim woman in public; that is, she can only use it for the sake of her husband, or in the presence of other women, and of Mahrams (the men she can never marry like her brother, father, uncle, etc.).
as far as “wearing lipstick while fasting” is concerned, we would like to cite for you the following fatwa issued by Al-Azhar House of Fatwa: “A woman is allowed to wear lipstick during the daytime of Ramadan if she is sure that nothing from that lipstick will go to her stomach. However, if any of that lipstick reaches the woman’s stomach, then her fasting becomes invalid.”
