It is agreed that the current situation of the Ummah is not very promising. We are occupied, our lands have been stolen , and our young men have been imprisoned. In spite of all of that, we should believe that Allah’s victory is coming. This is His promise. The promise of victory for Islam and Muslims has been confirmed in the Qur’an in more than one place. Hence, it is only a matter of time.
For Allah says: [Allah has promised, to those among you who believe and work righteous deeds, that He will, of a surety, grant them in the land, inheritance (of power), as He granted it to those before them; that He will establish in authority their religion – the one which He has chosen for them; and that He will change (their state), after the fear in which they (lived), to one of security and peace](Chapter of Al-Nur 24:55).
We can do a lot to help the Ummah. Among the best things that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did is to make Du’aal-Qunut at times of difficulties and hardships. We can use this weapon as Allah always helps those who are oppressed even if the oppressed person was a non-Muslim.
