There is no determined time for the interval between the Adhan and Iqama’. Therefore, it is for the people of authority to regulate such an issue in order to end any dispute between those who attend congregational prayers.
If the official people have set this time as an interval between the azan and iqama, people have to abide by this regulation as it involves no opposition to the Sunnah. Of course, they must have reasons for their decision in this regard.
