Sheikh `Abdul-Majeed Subh, a prominent Azharite scholar, states: “Islam takes care of attributing children to their biological fathers. It regards protecting the lineage as one of the five general basics in Islam including the preservation of religion, soul, mind wealth and lineage. Thus, the son must be attributed to his biological father.
