Taking up Ihram in Jaddah after crossing the Miqat would require damm (slaughtering a sacrifice animal offering as a compensation), because the pilgrim crossed the miqat (place where hajj-pilgrims should wear ihram clothes) without wearing ihram clothes. The damm can be offered by the pilgrim himself or looks for someone to deputize or rather contact the Saudi Rajhi Company which is authorized to take care of the sacrificial animal offerings on behalf of the Hajj or Umrah pilgrims.
