The Qur’an in many verses commend us to shun evil and seek refuge in Allah’s protection against the devil and his tricks. Satan always attempts us and tries to make things seem beautiful to us. The devil stated that he won’t be able to use his tricks against those who are righteous.
The Qur’an has so many verses that if we read, we will be protected by Allah. The most important thing about reading verses is to have a full certainty that Allah will protect you as He says in the Holy Hadith: “I am there as my slave thinks and I am with him when he remembers Me. If he remembers Me to himself, I remember him to Myself. If he remembers Me in an assembly, I remember him in an assembly better than it.”.
The following are important:
1- The verse of the Throne (2: 255)
2- Chapter of Al-Falaq (113)
3. Chapter of An-Nas (114)
Keep seeking Allah’s refuge and protection and He will be with you. Mention His names and remember Him and He will guide you. The Qur’an says: [Those who fear Allah, when a thought of evil from Satan assaults them, bring Allah to remembrance, when lo! they see (aright)!](Chapter of Al-A’raf 7: 201)
It is reported that Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite ayatal-Kursi and the last three chapters of the Qur’an before sleeping. He used to cup his hands and blow into them and rub them all over his body. Ayat al-Kursi also has many other benefits. You can recite it in your home or outside.
We can also read some du’as that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to read. A lot of thesedu’as are authentic so we can read them when we look for protection.
