Scholars are in agreement that both the husband and the wife have the right to have children through their marital relationship. None of them has the right to deprive the other of this right. Therefore, using contraception by either of the spouses has to be a result of mutual consent and according to the restrictions set by those scholars who allow using contraception in some stipulated cases.
