Muslims should rather concern themselves with matters of doctrine of Islam such as believing in Allah and His messenger as well as the duties and responsibilities that are subsequent to this belief. The true believer pays his attention to the rights of Allah, including worshipping Him and calling to His Deen, and the rights of the Messenger of Allah, such as following his way and abiding by his Sunnah, and the rights of people, like having good relations with them and calling them to Islam.
However, Dr. Marawan Shahin, Professor of Hadith and its Sciences, Faculty of Usul Ad-Din (Theology),Al-Azhar Univ. states: “I’d like to state that this issue is not a creedal issue that we have to believe in nor an issue that is related to `Ibadah (acts of worship). So, it is preferable not to indulge in such issues that do not benefit us and it is not related to creedal or `Ibadi issues. May Allah guide you and us all to the right path and protect the Muslim Ummah against all evils.”
