Dear scholars, as-salamu `alaykum. Does the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) have any rights upon us as Muslims?
Dear Sheikh, As-Salamu `alaykum. A lot of our Muslim brothers have told me that Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon Him) is alive in his grave and that he hears what one says to Him (Peace and blessings be upon Him). Is that true? Please explain as much as possible. Jazakum Allah khayran.
Could you please tell me how Muslim women especially those living in majority non-Muslim countries can celebrate the Prophet’s birthday? Are there things to avoid?
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. So many baseless claims have been circulated about the Prophet’s marriages and particularly his marriage to Zaynab bint Jahsh. Some Orientalists claim that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) married the wife of his adopted son (i.e. Zayd ibn Harithah) out of uncontrollable lust he had for her.
Did our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) had `Ilm Al-Ghayb or knowledge of the Unseen?
Dear scholars, as-Salamu `alaykum. I read in a hadith that some people, after receiving the religious knowledge, fell sick and were told by the Prophet to drink the milk and urine of his camels that were in the pasture. However, when they recovered from their illness, they killed the camel herder and fled with camels. The Prophet had them pursued and brought back. They were then punished by being blinded and their hands and feet were amputated and then they were left in the hot sand to die slowly. I understand this hadith to mean that one can kill enemies slowly. Is my interpretation wrong? And why? Jazakum Allah khayran.

What is the ruling of visiting the Prophet's grave during my Hajj journey? And are there recommended acts to be done there?
Dear Scholar's, As-salamu `alaikum! I have 3 questions. 1. I have a friend who says that he had dreamt of meeting our beloved prophet Muhammad(pbuh) but how can i believe him? 2. Who/how can a person dream of our beloved prophet? What must he/she attained before meeting him in his/her dreams? 3. What is Nur Muhammad? I'hv heard that it is the light that Allah first created before the angels, jinns, mankind and the whole universe. Is there any hadith about it? Jazakum Allahu khayran
Dear scholars, if Muhammad was such a holy man, why was it necessary for him to lead such a violent life?
As salamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhuDear Sheikh, this is a question which has caused some conflict where i come from. i wanted to know if, the prophet muhammad (saw) is the noor of allah. can you give qur'anic and hadith evidence to support this? jazakahumullahu khair wasalamu alaikum
In the Qur’an, God orders us to believe in all His Messengers and to make no distinction between them. This is mentioned more than once. God has told us in the Qur’an that Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is the last Messenger, but God never told us to put Prophet Muhammad above all other Prophets. On the other hand, I find that most Muslims insist on pointing out that Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is the best Prophet and "Sayyid Al-Mursalin" and that he will intercede for us "Yatashaffa` Lana" on the Judgment Day while all the other Prophets will turn their back on us. Isn't this wrong to try to belittle all the other Prophets and magnify Prophet Muhammad even though God ordered us humans specifically not to do so? Also, do these beliefs have any justifiable basis from the Qur’an? Thank you.
My question is regarding a very important issue. One of my non-Muslim friends say that the second verse of Surat Hud stands as an evidence that Muhammad wrote the Qur’an. Is this true? Did Muhammad (PBUH) really write the Qur’an?
Dear scholars! Why can I not find an image of Muhammad the Prophet? I wish one for my son's report on the religion of Islam. Thanks in advance.
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. How many children did the prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) have and what were their names? Jazakum Allah khayran.
Dear scholars, As-Salaam `Alaykum. Can you explain the meaning of the verse: (If My servants ask you about Me, tell them I am near, ready to answer those who call upon Me?) (Al-Baqarah 2: 186) I was told it means that one can only come to Allah through the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). Is that true? Jazakum Allahu khayran.
As-salamu `alaykum. We are asked to repeat “Allahumma Salli `Ala Sayyidina Muhammad” many times throughout the day. Could you please explain why? Are we asking Allah to bless the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) or are we asking Allah to literally pray for him? We pray for Allah our Creator and Master, but why would Allah pray for His Messenger and Servant? Jazakum Allah khayran.
As-salamu `alaykum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh. Some people say that it was the custom of Prophet Muhammad to torture his enemies. Could you please refute this claim by shedding light on some examples of the Prophet’s life?
Dear scholars of Islam, as-salamu `alaykum wa rahmatu Allah wa barakatuh. Could you please shed some light on the noble character of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)? Jazakum Allah khayran.
As-Salamu `alaykum. Nowadays, whenever one looks at the Muslim Ummah, he finds it broken, distracted and disconnected in its aims and entity, and so he recalls the early age of Islam searching for a way to reform. Would you please explain to us how Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) united his whole Ummah so that it reached the utmost rank of glory in this life? Jazakum Allah khayran.
Scholars of Islam, as-salamu `alaykum. What do you say about giving Zakah to the Prophet's descendants?
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. What is meant by loving the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)? How do we increase our love for him? Jazakum Allah khayran.
Scholars of Islam, As-Salaam `Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh. I have a question that perplexes my mind: In surat Al-Ahzab (verse 56), Allah says that He, Most High, yusalli (prays) for the Prophet. How does Allah pray for the Prophet?
Dear Respected scholars. I would like you to shed some light on the simple lifestyle adopted by Prophet Muhammad before and after his being honored with messengership. What about his life as a human being?
I want to know why didn’t Muhammad die for your sins?
As-Salamu `alaykum. I would like to know what is the fatwa on the Prophet Muhammad's (peace and blessings be upon him) death? Is he dead like other dead people? Jazakum Allah khayran.
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. Thank you for providing us this very useful website. May Allah multiply your reward. My question is this: Did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ever make jokes? Is there any evidence for that? Thank you.
We all know that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) preferred tamattu` Hajj, but I understand that he himself performed the qiran Hajj. Isn’t there some sort of discrepancy here?
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. Did Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) marry more than one wife in order to fulfill his sexual desire? Please clarify this issue for me because I'm really confused. Thanks. ]]>
Respected scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum wa Rahmatu Allah wa Barakatuh. I have a question that I would like you to clarify: Was Prophet Muhammad created from light? Jazakum Allah khayran.
It is my understanding that Jesus never killed anyone. Is that also true of Muhammad? To me, Muhammad led a life devoted to God/Allah, not war.
One day I went to a mosque. A sheikh there was giving a religious lesson; he started his speech by sending blessings upon the person of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in general and then upon the parts of his body such as his hands, eyes, head, tongue, mouth, hair. What is the viewpoint of Islam regarding such form of prayer?
Respected scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. Why did Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) look for a wali or protector after returning from his Journey to Ta’if ? He got a wali after many mushriks (disbelievers) rejected to give him protection. In the Qur'an, Allah commands Muslims not to take a mushrik as wali. I would appreciate an elaborated answer giving details of what the word wali means in the Qur’anic language and what Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) actually asked from the mushriks. Jazakum Allah khayran.
Dear scholars, As-Salaam `Alaykum. Why do we only address the last Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, as the "Holy Prophet" but not other Prophets? Weren't other Prophets like Isa, M usa, and Nuh, etc. Holy? Also is it true that Allah made this world because of Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him? Jazakum Allah khayran.
Some of the people in my class often say, "Ya Muhammad", when they want to stand up or need help to do something. They say it is part of tawassul and Sunnah of Rasulullah (the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him) to ask his help and that only Wahhabis oppose this practice. What does Hanafi School teach about saying "Ya Muhammad", instead of "Ya Allah"? Is it true that this is tawassul or is part of Sunnah? Shukran (Thank you)!
I read two hadiths from sahih muslim with heading Al-janaez chapter no 36. Hadith no 105, 106, in light of above refereed hadith can the parents (mother, father) of Allah's prophet (s.a.w) enter paradise (jannat) in here-after life? 2. Is it permissible for a muslim to keep the beard less than one hand?
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. I have often heard that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to go through very hard times during his life (periods of loneliness, depression and abandonment). What did he do to counter those effects and regain prosperity in a time when he felt no one was listening to him or that no one understood him? Jazakum Allah khayran.
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. It is said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) halted at a land in which he performed Prayer during the Night Journey (Al-Israa’), before reaching Al-Aqsa Mosque. However, it is well known that Prayer was enjoined during the Night Journey after the Prophet had ascended to Heaven, so what was this Prayer? Jazakum Allah khayran.
As-Salamu `Alaykum. Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) had eleven wives in all and nine at the one time. However, a Muslim is allowed a maximum of four wives. Would you please shed light on this issue as early as possible? Jazakum Allah khayran.
Dear scholars! It's okay that we should love our Prophet (PBUH), but what about our kids? How can we inculcate that love into our kids rights from beginning? Please give us some guidelines on this point, to make all family members have heart for the noble Prophet (PBUH).
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum! Please enlighten me on how should we show respect to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
Assalamu `alaykum, Can anyone see the Prophet while not sleeping?
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. I attended a session conducted by one of the sisters who was referred to as a woman scholar of Islam. While talking about the death of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) she said there was no Funeral Prayer said for him. I want to know if this statement is correct or not? If there was indeed a Funeral Prayer, did women participate in it? Jazakum Allah khayran.
As-Salamu `alaykum. As a Muslim who has religious zeal and is extra jealous for his beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), I would like you to furnish me with a fatwa concerning the attacks and insults that some non-Muslims, from time to time, direct at our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

Dear Sir, I wrote to before but i haven't received a reply.I am 12 yrs old and have recently started to learn about sex. My Quran tutor said that I should also read about the Prophet's sex life as it was allowed in Islam. I have been reading various accounts of the Prophet's persoanl life and now a am disturbed as I think by doing so I have committed a big sin. Please expalin if i have committed a sin. Also Islamic scholars have stated He had the sexual strength of 30 men and could have sex with all 8 of his wives in 1 night. Whilst the biography have read explained the need for the marriages it went on to sensationalize His marriage with Mariya. It states that ruler of Egypt sent her as a gift and she was a beautiful young virgin guraded by eunuch and women. When the Prophet saw her he marvelled at her beauty and for the first time in his life he felt sexual attra ction and stopped sleeping with all his wives and started sex with her every day and every night. Ayesha stated that she was vey jealous of her as the Prophet would spend all day and all night with her. Is this true?
Recently I have read a book that praise the Prophet (PBUH) by writing following -1. Part of the earth that lies in vicinity of his body is more exalted than the ?Throne (Arsh)?2. swinging of ?Arsh? stopped when soil of his shoes touched it.3. All the universe come into existence because him. Though Quran says that world is made for His worship, but if we analyze Allah is absolute and eternal He does not need any followers. Actually he wanted that Prophet (PBUH), his most loved creation, should be praised.4. Explaining ?Maqaam-e-Mahmood?, the book says-?He (PBUH) will be asked to sit on the ?Sublime Throne? on the Day of Judgment?. Please tell me the trustworthiness of such narration in the light of Quran and Hadith.
