As-Salamu `alaykum! I am keeping a pet dog at my home. Sometimes, it touches me and its skin and fur simply touch my clothes. Kindly tell whether I can perform prayer with the same clothes or I should change them. Thank you!
As-Salamu `alaykum. We noticed that some people do not think it is essential to be in a state of purity or to face the qiblah when doing sujud at-tilawah, and that others say that these are essential. Which view is correct?
As-Salmu `alaykum. I would like to ask some questions about wudu'. Is it correct that one’s wudu' is invalidated by looking at a woman who is not wearing hijab or by laughing?
Is it obligatory for the Muslim woman to wash her hair thoroughly while performing Ghusl, keeping in mind that there might be more than one relationship during the same day? Thanks in advance.
Scholars of Islam, As-Salaam `Alaykum wa Rahamtullah wa Barakatuh. I’d like to ask a question: Can I wipe over may headscarf when making Wudu’ in the same way we do over socks. Jazakum Allah Khayran.
As-Salamu `alaykum. Does one have to renew wudu' (ablution) after diaper change of a two-year old baby?
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. Can a person who is ill perform Tayammum (dry ablution) when it comes to offering prayer even if there is available water near him? Jazakum Allah khayran.
Asalamo aalaikum Which is the fact , refering to intimate relation in a married couple, that force to perform Ghusl. There can be sexual intercourse with no eyaculaion and no need to perform Ghusl.? When WOMAN should performe Ghusl after intimacy with her husband?. can ablution be enough in some circunstaces for her?Baraka Allahu Fikum
Alsalamo Alaykum, i have a very small question: After a man urinates, must he use water to cleanse his penis? Sometimes i'm at a public bathroom, and i can just use a tissue to wipe myself after the urine without using any water..i dry my penis from urine, but using no water. is that permissible? also, sometimes at work i feel like i wanna urinate, but i hold it so that i don't have to make wudu' again since sometimes it's cold and i have nothing to dry myself with, and i don't like to walk around feeling wet. Can i pray then urinate? or am i not allowed to pray while i need to urinate? i heard that i'm not allowed to pray while i need to urinate since i won't be able to focus. but what if i can focus?
Salaam, due to my eczema i like to use oil on my skin instead of creams as it lasts longer. My question is is that between ghusls i apply this oil to my skin, so when i go to do a ghusl the oil is still on my skin and water and oil dont mix so is my ghusl not valid? do i have to wash the oil off with soaps first and then do ghusl? May Allah reward you greatly for all your efforts with this site!Ameen.
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. I prayed Fajr, Zuhr and `Asr without having had a bath for janabah (impurity) because I forgot. After having a bath at Maghrib time I repeated these prayers before praying Maghrib. Then my husband told me that it is essential to have the correct intention before having a bath, so I had a bath and prayed `Isha’ and I did not repeat the rest of the prayers. Are my prayers from Fajr to Maghrib valid? What should I do? Jazakum Allah khayran.
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. I have been suffering from eczema on my feet for two years. I am treating it by using an ointment and I need to keep my feet dry all the time for the treatment to work. Is it possible to make wudu’ (ablution) by wiping on the socks? Jazakum Allah khayran.
As-salamu `alaykum. Even if they take great care to clean themselves, can Muslims use public washrooms knowing that there is a chance that their clothes may become soiled from urine splattered on the floor? How does this affect the validity of one’s salah (ritual prayer)?
As-Salamu `alaykum. What were alternatives used to cleanse the private parts by the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and his Companions when water was not available for this purpose? Are we allowed to use other alternatives like tissues or toilet paper, in our present time, if we cannot use water?
As-Salamu `alaykum. We have a small baby boy of just one month who passes urine on family members, especially his mother. How can the family members get cleaned if the baby passes urine on their clothes?
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. What things necessitate ghusl (ritual bath)? Thank you.
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. If some one has a medical problem which necessitates the use of a medicated bandage that has to be left on the foot for approximately a week without removal, is it be permissible to make wudu’ (ablution) over the bandage? What if it's not a serious condition but could become worse if left untreated? Jazakum Allah khayran.
