Sheikh Ahmad Kutty, a senior lecturer and Islamic scholar at the Islamic Institute of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, states: “As believers in the absolute sovereignty of Allah, we attribute everything to the power of Allah, while believing in our ability to achieve our goals with His help. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is reported to have said, “Expect that which is beneficial for you and seek to accomplish them by seeking Allah’s help, and do not feel helpless If after having put forth the best of your efforts, you find a certain unachievable, then say, “that was God’s will, and He does that which is best.” Never tell yourself, ” I wish I had this or that” for such thoughts open doors for Devil to interfere with your thinking.”
