Dr. Monzer Kahf, a prominent economist and counselor, states the following: It is not forbidden for Muslims to sell, and buy women fashion jewelries of all kinds and metals anywhere in the world. Jewelries of all kinds are permissible for women but wearing gold, not gold plated, jewelries is prohibited for Muslim men as reported in an authentic Hadith in this regard.
