The eminent Muslim scholar and renowned Da`iyah, Sheikh `Abdel Khaliq Hasan Ash-Shareef, states: “It is something good to handwrite the Qur’an but it is an extra and hard effort that will not yield a great result or benefit. It is better if one gave out a copy of the Qur’an as a gift and spend more time in learning the Qur’an and acting according to its teachings.”
