Dr. Rif`at Fawzi, former professor of Shari`ah at Cairo Univ., states that: “There is nothing wrong with this kind of fasting which is valid. As a Muslim in Ramadan, when you travel and you opt to fast, you should break your fasting according to the city you reached and observe fast with them.“
