Shiite belief

 SalaamI wish to marry a shi`ah man and am Sunni. There are points of agreement between us but I am concerned about the way he says his Shahadah. After 'Lailaha Illahla ho Muhammadan Rasoolallah' he adds 'Hazrat Ali is the successor of the Messenger of Allah and his first caliph'. Is it permissible to add this or anything else? Would it amount to shirk at all?Please advise as fully as you can.Jazak Allah Ps, I asked this question on the Live Fatwa which was part helpful but did not expand on the statement below:'Of course, as Sunnis we can?t accept this of shahada as it is completely different from the sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and the majority of companions' (answer)Can you explain whether it is still permissable or amounts to Shirk? Kindly also explain why we cannot accept this as shahadah. This would enhance my knowledge of the subject before I can make a decision.

Converting from a Shia to a Sunnias-salaam alaikum. I wish to know the proper way to truly convert from a Shia to a Sunni as I believe it is closer to the prophet's original teachings (SAW).I want to know the true way to become Sunni so that Allah sees it in my heart and also sees that I dropped the Shia beliefs that I once had.Thank you for your time, may Allah be pleased with the effort you put in to help others.

As-salamu `alaykum, I attended an iftar in a Ja`fari Shiite association, and then I performed Maghrib and `Isha' Prayers behind a Shiite Imam. Is my Prayer acceptable? They made some differences in Adhan. They also put something (like a stone) in front of them while offering Prayer. Also, in the Prayer itself, they made a few differences.Please let me know whether my Prayer was valid or not. Jazakum Allahu khayran.
