Pictures

Dear scholars, As-Salaam `Alaykum. I see some people coming to Mosque wearing T-Shirts that have pictures of human beings or animals. Is it permissible to perform prayer while wearing such types of T- shirts? Jazakum Allah khayran.

i want to know is it ok and permissiable in islam to have a picture of verses of quran written on it to be hangd in the bedroom where sex is performed by husbend and wife

al salam alaikom wa rahmatu allah wa barakatuh.. dear scholars i would like to ask a question that i cannot ask anyone else because of the reaction i might get. first of all i would like to say i am a muslim that is trying to hold on to kitab allah wa sunnat rasulu mohammad salla allah alaih wa sallam. My question is Can i keep pictures of al sayyida maryam and eisa alaih il salam as dipicted by the christians not because i have similar beleifs but only out of my sheer love and devotion to al sayidda maryam radiya allah anha wa ardaha and our prophet eisa alaih il salam.

I am a new Muslim and I am married to the man who introduced me to Islam. In our wedding, we took some pictures. Later, my sister gave us two of the pictures in a frame as a gift. I have placed these pictures on my bedroom dresser. My husband keeps asking me if it is ok to take them down and store them away. But I feel bad, since my sister was only trying to do something nice for us. What is the proper course of action for me in this situation?

Scholars of Islam, as-Salamu `alaykum. I have come to know that the 99 names of Allah which are commonly known in our Muslim countries aren't all correct. I ha ve found that there are more than 99 and that some of these on the lists commonly found are not names but, in fact, descriptions. My question is: What is the ruling on having a picture with these names on the wall? Do I have to take it down and get rid of it? Would it be considered as agreeing on lies against Allah?

Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. Is it allowed to hang pictures on walls for the intention of decor? I know that if one puts up a picture for the purpose of worship it is considered shirk. But if I like to decorate my room with my family pictures, I don't see anything haram in it. Could you please enlighten me? Jazakum Allah khayran.

Is it permissible to use large pictures on notice boards

I heard that having photos of creature at home is forbidden. should'nt I buy product that contains animals' photos printed on ther packink? I have an appliance on wich is printed a robot in shape of human can I cover (with painting ) the photo and use it? ( I can afford to buy a new one). is it the same with obtaining people photos with a camera?
