Sheikh Ahmad Kutty, a senior lecturer and an Islamic scholar at the Islamic Institute of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, states: “If one has repented of involving in such transactions, then the only other thing that I can think of for them to do is if they have earned such wealth or profited from such transactions, try to cleanse their income by giving away in charity as much as they can and ask forgiveness of Allah. We should remember Allah is most Forgiving and most Merciful.”
