Muslims can ask Allah with any Language as Languages are from Him. Thus, He hears us and responds to our request regardless of the language we are using.
As much as we can perform du’a in any language, we are highly recommended as Muslims to know some du’as in Arabic even through transliteration and that is quite available nowadays. Again, because Arabic is the language of the Qur’an so we should try to learn it even for the sake of ibadat( worships).
Dr. ‘Abd al-Kareem al-Khudayr,states: “It is permissible to make du’a in a language other than Arabic, if one does not speak it. But the Muslim has to learn enough Arabic to do the acts of worship properly.
