The eminent Muslim scholar and renowned Da`iyah, Sheikh `Abdel Khaliq Hasan Ash-Shareef, states: “In Islam, it is permissible to get married in any month of the year and there is no preference for a month over another in this regard. However, it may BE reprehensible to get married in the last of Sha`ban or during Ramadan for fear that new spouses may break their fasting during the days of Ramadan.
