Dr. Marawan Shahin, Professor of Hadith and its Sciences, Faculty of Usul Ad-Din (Theology), Al-Azhar Univ. states: “From Shari`ah perspective, such person is not required to squeeze their penis and there is no Shar`i text supporting this act and Shari`ah is easier than this. It is our advice for such person to stay on their back for some time before going to the toilet in case they are not at work or school. They can also stay in the toilet for a few minutes which may not reach 10 minutes to be assured of the coming out of urine.
