Dr. Rif`at Fawzi, former professor of Shari`ah at Cairo Univ., states: “Once the zabiha animal has been slaughtered Islamically, it (all of it) becomes halal for eating. So, one can eat any part he or she likes of the zabiha unless this part is harmful or impure. However, it is related that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to abhor eating some parts of the Zabiha such as its gland, penis or vulva, the two testicles, the (urinary) bladder, the gallbladder, etc. It was also reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) liked the front part of the slaughtered sheep.
