Zainab  Al-Alwani, Instructor of Fiqh and Islamic Studies, Graduate School of Islamic and Social Sciences, states the following: “If a lady has a problem with their hair, then it is better to seek medical treatment from a hair specialist. As for the hair extension, it is discouraged because we know from the hadiths that a woman is cursed for extending her hair with extra ones.”
