Regarding the ruling of traveling for visitation during morning period, Dr. Salah Sultan said:
“As for visiting children in another country, it is only allowed if there is a necessity. If it is just for vacation or leisure, then she has to wait until the mourning period is over.
As for attending the wedding, it is a social issue that can bring about a lot of embarrassments if she does not attend, and therefore I find no harm in her attending it.”
